Alert by day, asleep by night.


Molly has been terrific --

She shows all signs (so far) of being an easy baby --

** Her longest stretch of sleep has started at midnight for the last several nights -- and she has slept as long as 5.5 hours.

** Last night I put her down before she was totally sleeping, and she fell asleep on her own.

** She is learning to suck her thumb.

** She loved her first bathtub bath yesterday - especially getting her head rubbed dry.

** Once last week she slept in her crib for a few hours.

In general she's a happy baby. She has a fussy period each evening - which had been when Patrick had her so I could sleep. We discovered the other night that it's a time that she just wants her mommy, so we'll figure out a different time for me to sleep.

We're excited to take our cross-country adventure in a week to see folks in Michigan and Chicago - and to celebrate Molly's first Christmas.
